Anghami Introduction

Anghami launched in 2012 as the first legal music streaming platform in a region where music is largely dominated by piracy. It is the market leader in the MENA region with a catalog comprising more than 30 Million songs available to over 70 Million users. It’s often referred to as “the Spotify of the Middle East” and works on a similar “freemium” model. Advertising revenue generates royalties for streams on the free plan and individual and family subscriptions are available for premium features.

Anghami operates predominantly in the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region.
