Q: I’ve submitted my release, when will it be on the stores?
A: Once completed and submitted, your release is sent for approval to your label manager. If everything is fine, it will be approved which queues it up for delivery to stores. Depending on the set lead time for each individual store, releases are delivered, ingested and then displayed in line with the pre-order date set.
Q: The release needs to be out immediately, is this possible?
A: Yes, although we strongly suggest sticking to the proposed release timetable. We can rush releases through if needed, however by doing this you are very unlikely to receive any kind of marketing or placement support from stores. iTunes / Apple Music can ingest content within a couple of hours, Spotify 24-48 hours and everywhere else after a couple of days.
