Introduction
The SoundCloud blue tick is use to denote verified creators and helps users locate the authentic and official accounts when browsing the app.
Eligibily
To request a blue tick, a SoundCloud account must meet the following criteria;
- Represents a well-known and/or highly searched-for artist, collective, DJ, label, curator or podcaster.
- Be a unique profile. Soundcloud do not verify fan accounts or impersonators.
- Must not contain any misleading information and adheres to our terms of use.
- Must have a bio, profile photo and at least one track uploaded.
Application
If you believe your account matches the above criteria, you can apply for verification by logging into the SoundCloud desktop website. You’ll find a “Request verification” button in your account settings. The review process can take up to 30 days.
